e-commerce transactions outside their country of residence in
local currency. In 1997, he launched Fiera, Inc. became the
leading e-commerce company serving in the Spanish and Portuguese
markets, with $25.0 million in sales, 250 employees and offices
in seven countries. Previously, he was CEO of TNT Logistics and
TNT Transportation in Europe, Mr. Montero served as a member of
TNT’s Europe Management Board as well as led the team that
designed Volkswagen’s Just-In-Time inventory system. He was
President and General Manager of American Express TRS Group in
Spain and Division Vice President of American Express TRS
Company Latin America and Caribbean Division, headquartered in
Miami. Earlier he was a senior consultant with Booz, Allen &
Hamilton in New York and later he served as Managing Partner of
Roland Berger & Partners, Europe’s leading management consulting
firm and a subsidiary of the Deutsche Bank.

George Washington University) is Professor of International
Studies at the University of Miami. He is
of counsel to the
international law firm of Greenberg Traurig in Miami. He was
founding Dean of the Graduate School of International Studies at
the University of Miami and Director of the Dante. B. Fascell
North-South Center. In the Carter Administration, he
participated in the negotiation of the U.S.-Panama Canal
Treaties, and their approval by the U.S. Senate as Deputy
Assistant Secretary of State for Congressional Relations. He
served as Ambassador to Panama from 1978 until 1982. In the
career Foreign Service he served in Spain, (Vice Consul,
Barcelona, 1964-66) the U.S. Delegation to the Organization of
American States, and as Spanish Desk Officer in the Department
of State (1978-71). He has received decorations from the
governments of Spain (Encomienda,
Mérito Civil, 1984) and Catalonia (Creu de Sant Jordi, 1986) and
is fluent in Spanish, Catalan and French. He is a member if the
Council on Foreign Relations (New York) and the Royal Institute
of International Affairs and the International Institute of
Strategic Studies (London.)

Science –London, B.A. St. Thomas University) is former President
of the Spain-U.S Chamber of Commerce as well as founding member
of the Chamber. He also is a founding member of “Centro Cultural
Español” (Spanish Cultural Center) in Southern Florida, former
Vice-Chairman of the City of Miami International Trade Board,
and International Adviser to the Mayor of the City of Miami. He
as also a Member of the Loan Committee of the Miami Capital
Development Public Agency; Mr. Linares is a banker by profession
and has filled executive positions with Transatlic Bank,
Creditbank and Continental Bank. Among his awards is that of
Knight Officer, Cross of Queen Isabella, bestowed by King Juan
Carlos of Spain
(Lic. Economy, Universidad
Complutense Madrid, 1972) is President of Universal Music
Latino. Mr Echevarria served in several cultural and copyright
related industries such as Virgin Records, CBS, Sony Music Int.,
AIE and CEDRO. As Copyright expert, Mr Echevarria served in
the Mixed Comission of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, and has
been Member of the Board and Elected Official of several
organizations such as the International Federation of
Reproduction Rigths Organizations (IFRRO), the Spanish Music
Publishers Association, the Latin American Federation of Music
Publishers and the InterAmerican Intellectual Property
Congress. He has acted as Consultant for several Copyright
Agencies and for CERLALC (a UNESCO Agency for the promotion of
Books and Culture in Latin America).
